Requirements to run Kali Linux on the Host machine
Hardware:
● Minimum 4/8 GB RAM
● AMD2016 Model / intel core i3/i5/i7 processor
● Minimum 80 GB Hard disk
● Minimum 15 Mbps internet speed
Software
● Virtual box software
● Kali Linux virtual machine image file (.ova)
● Metasploitable 2 virtual machine

How To Install Kali Linux

1. Download latest kali linux os in .iso file and burn its image to a disc or bootable pendrive.
2. You can live boot it or else install in it your system.
3. reboot your system and enter boot manager and continue with kali linux disc or pendrive.
4. enter install or graphical install
5. enter date , time , city and continue
6. the installation process goes on.
7. The main problem in installing a debian os comes at the point of partitioning a disk and here in this case you have to be careful enough if you dual boot it with other operating system.
8. carefully manage the partition and let the installation set up detect the available disks and partition according to the instructions.
9. Just use the free space available for kali and create new name so that you wont be confused.
10. after successful partitioning use a network mirror to install all the packages required to run the os.
11. enter the username password as 'root' . If it doesnt work use 'toor'.and after successful installing of grub then your kali linux os will be ready to use.
12. enter username root and password root. or use the alternate toor.
13. woila kali linux is ready to use.!!!!!
